OHMUHGAWD...

So band camp's over, I have no videos uploaded, and there's so much shit going on in my brain that I'm not sure what to do.  Let's start with our band camp story.

My marching band instructor, Mr. Mac, decided that, this year, we'd have more of a "fun" show than last year, which even started with a voice saying "when Debussy died on March the 25th, 1918 in Paris, it was being bombarded by the Germans, and it was raining."  So, you get the idea.  The first movement is called Cartoon, where it has a sort of Loony Tunes-like sound.  Second movement is called Games, where it sounds like the sort of music for games you'd hear back when they didn't have the benefits of 500 channels on television and Xbox 360 and PS3.  And the third movement is called Lullabye (the title is a play on words, goodbye and lullaby), where it starts with Brahms's Lullaby, then sort of breaks into something from the first two movements.  And guess what the "creative" minds behind the title of the show came up with?  Cartoons, Games, and Lullabies.  And they spent so long on this title, it's not even funny.  Couldn't they have been a bit more original?  Honestly.

So the reason I have no videos uploaded is because I don't have the full version of Fraps.  It only records for 30 seconds each time, so I got plenty irritated at the damn thing.  Don't laugh.  After that, I was sort of planning on putting a little intro video, but I never found the time to.  And then band camp passed, zero time was available, now I'm left with zero uploads.

And so for some of the shit going on with my brain (another reason why I have no uploads).  I will not explain it all, because people might get bored or so weirded out that they don't care to read any more.  First, I'll start with the fact that my best friend has a sort of huge crush on me whilst she is going out with another guy she really likes as well and is rather open with sharing it.  Unfortunately, this is a sort of situation where the love is unrequited, but I promised if I ended up in the circumstance when we both would not be going out with anybody and I wasn't really interested in anybody, I would go out with her.  But, of course, that just doesn't really work that way, because I've found myself actually liking one girl in particular for the first time in quite a while now.  Ironically, this would be my section leader in marching band, who is actually 7 months younger than I.  She and I get along on a rather good level, especially since we were the only two freshmen in front ensemble percussion last year.  So you get the idea of what it's like.

But that's enough of my ramblings for now, so I will see you later.

Rage, Some Minecraft, And More Rage

Hey guys, what is up?  It's me again.  I felt like blogging because I MISS YOU GUYS SO!!  Even though nobody follows this blog... Oh well.  Anyway, I started recording with Fraps yesterday when I found out it stops recording after about 30 seconds!  RAGE!!! But that didn't stop me from playing some Minecraft, did it?  Nope.  I guess in order to make it record longer I need to buy the full version, so I might need some money. I'll google up some help first, and if I can't come up with anything, you guys will have to wait longer than I'd expected.  I will make an intro possibly today, though, with a picture or a repeating muted clip, and my audio recorded in Audacity.

Anyway, to Minecraft stories: I finally found slimes in that gigantic cave I found!!  In case you didn't know, a few months ago, I stumbled upon the biggest natural cave I'd seen since watching OR playing Minecraft!  I just finally finished discovering it and got 8 diamond!!  Also I found an assload of redstone, iron, coal, lapis, and natural obsidian (all of which I've yet to mine out)!!!  Unfortunately, when I ran into that assload of slimes, I lost a the slimeballs I had to lava.  More RAGE!!!  But I eventually got back to them, got a few slimeballs AND conquered a dungeon in that same cave (wonder how I died?  ZOMBIES.)  Either way, I'm pleased with my results and am looking forward to more fun times there.

Anyway, peace out and drink responsibly!!  \m/

It's Almost MLG Time, Kiddos!

Hey guys, I just bought a rather decent and useful headset, so I can officially record PC gameplay by this Friday!  It'd most likely be Minecraft, Spiral Knights, or random internet games, but it's a start, right?  Anyway, that's not the only reason I'm posting this.  The open beta for Dragon Nest came out recently, and do you know what that means?  Well, if you read my last post, I don't have enough RAM on two of my three computers to run it, but once I install it on THIS computer and/or I upgrade the RAM on my other computer(s), I will go into the game and set it to the highest difficulty possible!  Yeah, that's right, I, the guy who usually plays on Normal or Hard difficulty modes, will now go into MLG mode.  If I can record that, too, you guys can see my possible MLG failing, or possible MLG winning!  Also, I might just go MLG mode on Minecraft for the hell of it, so look forward to that!

And now, I bid thee adieu.  Parting is such sweet sorrow.  Peace out, guys.
